Gilad Jaffe is a graduate of the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop, where he was an Iowa Arts Fellow and received an MFA in Creative Writing. He holds a BA in Written Arts from Bard College, where he was awarded the Academy of American Poets Prize, and has worked on staff with the John Cage Trust and AmeriCorps at the Providence Children's Museum. Recent poetry has appeared in Bennington Review, Colorado Review, Conjunctions, Denver Quarterly, DIAGRAM, Harvard Divinity Bulletin, The Iowa Review, The Missouri Review, TriQuarterly, The Yale Review, and on WNYC, among others. Gilad has received generous support from the Abrons Arts Center, PEN America, and the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts. He has taught Creative Writing at both the University of Iowa and the Iowa Young Writers' Studio, and currently serves as an Assistant Editor at Conjunctions.
